Avinger Law Firm, LLC is a general practice law firm located in Santee. The firm is headed by solo practitioner Chasity Sanders Avinger.

Mrs. Avinger earned her high school diploma from Holly Hill Academy in 1999, where she was valedictorian of her graduating class. She also attended the SC Governor's school as a Governor's Scholar and was named a National Merit Scholar.

In 2002, Mrs. Avinger graduated from the Florida State University Honors College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. She also majored in English and minored in Public Administration, Religion, and Psychology. She was named to the Gold Key Society and the Dean's List and was an active member of Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity, where she served as her pledge class president and later as secretary of the fraternity. She was also awarded the Alpha Phi Omega Best Overall Pledge award and the Alpha Phi Omega Leadership Award.

In 2002, she had oldest son Jackson followed by sons Cooper in 2004 and Clay in 2006.

In 2006, she was appointed Town Clerk for the Town of Elloree where she served until December 2011. During that time, she also served as the Clerk of Court for the Elloree Municipal Court.

In 2011, Mrs. Avinger graduated cum laude from the Charleston School of Law with her Juris Doctorate degree. During her time at the law school, she was an active member of the Children's Advocacy and Family Law Society, where she served as vice-president, and served as a member of the Executive Leadership Council and Women in Law.. She was named to the Dean's List and was a 3-time merit scholarship award recipient. She was also an active member of the school's Student Bar Association, where she served as a Senator for her class before serving as SBA vice-president.

In 2012, Mrs. Avinger was one of 2 South Carolina recipients of the Lions International Leadership Award.

Mrs. Avinger is an active member of the Lake Marion Rotary Club and serves on the Board of Directors for the For the Love of a Paw animal advocacy organization. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Tri-County Regional Chamber of Commerce, Elloree Midway Athletics, and the Orangeburg County Adult Literacy Board. She is an active volunteer Guardian ad Litem with the Orangeburg-Calhoun Guardian ad Litem program.

Mrs. Avinger currently serves as the Associate Municipal Court Judge for the Santee Municipal Court.

Mrs. Avinger lives with her husband Preston and three sons in Summerville.
